PLANNING: This General Manager will formulate long range strategic plans & work with managers to develop annual goals and objectives.
ADMINISTRATION: Monitors the day to day activity to ensure that each area is adhering to AAA four-diamond standards.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: Formulate annual operating and capital budgets, prepare monthly budget analyses, quarterly year-end projections. Reviews various financial reports including: sales reports; participation and occupancy reports; inventory reports; variance reports; trend analyses; cash control reports; labor usage reports; and other expense reports.
MARKETING: Develop marketing strategies to drive revenues, advertise services, and enhance the Inn's reputation through high quality printed materials and web presence.
HUMAN RESOURCES: Responsible for recruiting, hiring and development of department managers. Maintain adequate staffing levels. Participate in the interview process and recruitment of key management. Enforce compliance with the policies and procedures.

- Understanding of policies and procedures used in the Inn/hotel/conference service industry as well as in the food service industry.
-5+ years management level experience in the hospitality industry, preferably at a conference center/hotel
-Strong working knowledge of general accounting, PMS, Point-of-Sale (POS), Inventory, E-commerce, Menu Management, scheduling and billing and hotel reservation systems.
-Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, physical plant mechanical equipment and infrastructure systems is preferred.
